Box for Keesdrow

Got a kommission to make a box for a 50-years birthday present.
The game, Keesdrow, is similar to Scrabble.

I didn’t make the tiles, they are a part of the game. The box top and bottom are the same height so they can be placed next to each other to form a board to place the tiles. The box parts have a small edge on three sides, and magnets on the fourth to keep them together while you play.

The name is engraved with a CNC router and the engraving is filled with caulking paste, the kind you use between board on a ship deck.

The box is made of birchwood.
