Hairpins

I have friends with long hair who need pins to secure their hair in a knot. One of them have a “fetish” for meeples, so I made her forked pins with meeples on top. Since her favourite gaming color is green, I painted two of the meeples green. Another friend collects elephants, so for her it was an obvios choice to make forked pins with elephants.

Here are a few more where I have experimented with different materials such as Birch and Juniper Wood, Aluminum and Acrylic Plastic. The top are supposed to resemble a Birch leaf, designed by the client, but the acrylic was difficult to shape, it melts when cutting with electrical saws or sanding with machines.
